Some people have a strong curiosity about DoIP MB SD C4 Plus because what appears to be a new PCB variant they’ve not seen before (i.e the analog interface side has some pretty significant differences)
Take @ s65amg for example, I quoted what he said below:

Here’s what appears to be a new PCB variant I’ve not seen before:

Even the analog interface side has some pretty significant differences (e.g. using DG406 from Maxim for the analog switches)

Interesting because, if it’s real, they moved to a module for the WiFi, which means that someone actually got ahold of the schematics/layout for one of these (or reverse engineered it from leaked gerbers), but more importantly, made a new PCB spin. It doesn’t solve any of the fundamental issues, but is interesting none the less. Has anyone purchased one of these units yet? I’d be curious to see more shots of the interior, esp. what’s under the heatsinks.
Before anyone gets too excited, this board doesn’t look like any of kind engineering par excellence — it looks more like a cost optimized respin — but that said, whoever did this had to know something about what they were at least intent upon trying to do.
And someone understand DoIP MB SD C4 Plus gave good review:
They’ve saved by removing a lot of components, but people who have it say it’s going well, the wifi connection is simple and for the toolkit it’s like it’s wired. Below the heatsinks are the same components as in the previous designs: MPC/SPC 5200, network controller…
