Does Autel Tablet support Wired Printer?

Question: Can Autel tablet use a wired printer? If I wanna use a wired connection, is it supported? The Autel tablet I mean: Autel MaxiSys, Autel MaxiIM, Autel MaxiCOM, Autel MaxiDAS etc.

Autel engineer replied:

Autel tablet only supports Print via network, which connects to the printer through the network.

Good to know:

Autel scan tools cannot sent files directly to a wireless printer.

Instead, you need to install software onto a computer which the scan tool will use as a gateway to print.

How to install Autel Tablet Printer app on your PC:

The drivers for the Autel j2534 and PC Link for wireless printing are included in the MaxiSys software suite.

Download the New Maxi PC Suite from the Autel Website:

Requirements the Autel MaxiSys Printer app for Windows:

A computer connected to the same network (wired or wireless) as the Autel unit

Win7 Extractor or WinRAR (The Autel file is downloaded in a .ZIP format and must be extracted)

A restart is required after installation

How to install Autel MaxiSys PC suite?

Please remove MaxiSys PC Suite if it is currently installed. Please skip this step if you have Maxi PC Suite Installed.

Install the New Maxi PC Suite.

Make sure the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader is installed.

Add Exceptions to Anti Virus.

Allow PC Link Program on Windows Firewall.

Open PC Link from Maxi PC Suite.

Make sure the PC Link is running in the background processes.

Perform A test print from the scanner.

Print Confirmed.

Answer: After entering from Diagnostic or Service, there is a History button on the navigation bar. Click this button to view the history. After clicking the record, there is a button in the upper right corner of the screen to send or print the report.
