To enable the “Add Key” function for BMW G-Chassis BDC02 vehicles, an Autel BMW G-Chassis License is required. Follow the steps below to purchase the license using the Autel/Otofix tablet (Autel MaxiIM IM508, IM608, Otofix IM1 & IM2 with Autel G-Box/G-Box2/G-Box3 Programming Adapter)
For example, Autel MaxiIM tablet:
- Select MaxiIM on your tablet.
- Choose IMMO.
- Accept the disclaimer.
- Select BMW from the system options.
- Choose System Selection > Immobilizer > BDC2 Immobilizer.
- Select Programming Operation > ECU Preprocessing.
- On the Purchase Page, tick the second option: “BMW Activation of Add Key Function – BDC02”, then click OK.
- Choose your payment method: Credit Card or PayPal.
- If you select Credit Card:

- Enter your email, card information, cardholder name, and country/region.
- You will receive a confirmation message. Follow the on-screen prompts to enter the code and continue.
- Click Pay and wait for the payment to be successfully processed.
- After the payment is successful, the ECU Preprocessing will be completed.
