Today we’ll walk through how to cut an EVVA 4KS household key using Xhorse Condor XC-TWINS key cutting machine and M5 clamp.
Steps-by-step guide:
1.Turn on the machine
Switch on Condor XC-TWINS.
2.Choose key type
On the screen, go to: Household → Key blank → All key blank → 4KS → 4KS (EVVA).
3.Clamp the key
Put the original key firmly into Xhorse M5 clamp.
Make sure it’s straight and secured.
4.Decode the key
Press “Decode key” to let the machine read the cuts from both sides of the key.
5.Confirm decoding
Once the key is decoded, you’re ready to cut.
6.Cut the first side
Choose the left cutter and start cutting the first side.
7.Update key data
After the first side is done, select “All key lost” to refresh the cutting data. The first line will update automatically.
8.Cut the second side
Now use the right cutter to cut the other side.
9.Cutting complete
Both sides of the key are now cut.
10.Test the key
Take the key out of the clamp and try it in the lock to make sure it works properly.
