The Yanhua Mini ACDP2 can calibrate BMW ID7/ID8 vehicles, but some BMW vehicles from 2024 onwards use ID8.5 (for example, the 2024 BMW X5/X6/X7). So, does the Yanhua Mini ACDP2 support BMW ID8.5?
The answer is no. As of the time of writing in September 2025, the Yanhua Mini ACDP2’s mileage calibration function does not yet support BMW ID8.5.
So how can you tell if your vehicle has ID8 or ID8.5?
A relatively simple method is to check the climate control interface on the vehicle’s central console (in-vehicle infotainment system) after starting the vehicle. If the climate control function is displayed as text, it indicates ID8; if it is displayed as an icon, it indicates ID8.5.
