This post will guide you how to correct mileage for Toyota S6J3001 cluster using Yanhua ACDP/ACDP2 with Module 41 via OBD/CAN method.
Note:
It is recommended to first attempt the procedure via OBD. If unsuccessful, switch to CAN mode (bench).
Step-by-Step Procedure:
1.Connect ACDP or ACDP2 device to the vehicle’s OBD port.
2.Run ACDP APP and navigate to:
Module→ Toyota ODO→ OBD/CAN Reset Mileage→ S6J3001 ODO
3.Select “Identify info” function
The system will identify cluster information and read the original mileage value.
Save the original mileage data.
4.Select “Reset KM Data” function
Ensure the ignition is on and the cluster is powered.
Confirm mileage data again. If an error occurs when entering programming mode, OBD mode is not supported. Proceed with CAN (bench) mode.
CAN Mode (Bench) Instructions:
1.Remove the instrument cluster from the vehicle.
2.In the ACDP APP, select Clear DTC and refer to the Help section for wiring instructions.
3.Connect Mini ACDP2 to the cluster using Module 41 and the CAN adapter.
4.Select “Reset KM Data” again and verify the current mileage.
5.Save the original data — ensure the backup file ends with “Orig.bin”.
6.Enter the desired new mileage value and write the data.
7.Once completed, read the mileage again to confirm the correction was successful.
