OBDSTAR MS80 Motorbike diagnostic scanner tablet is able to scan all system of BMW like 2018 BMW S1000R, 2015 BMW R1200 as well as a bunch of Motorbikes from Asia, Europe, America etc.
Guide on OBDSTAR MS80 scan all system of 2018 BMW S1000R:
Plug OBDSTAR MS80 into the OBD2 port of 2018 BMW S1000R Motorbike (located under the seat).
Turn on the ignition of the Motor and the machine will boot automatically.
Tap “DP” – > Moto Diag -> Europe -> BMW -> BMW V30.02 -> initialization… Loading.
Tap “Auto Identify (VIN)” , soon the VIN code will be out.
Motorcycle (Road) 2016 – ENG -> Bosch BMS MP1 (2016-) Euro 4 -> ECU information.
Next is to Read fault codes, then erase fault codes (Please confirm ignition switch is turned ON).
Then to “Read data flow”, there are 2 options: Value live data & State live data.
Value live data first (display in text). There is a dashboard icon, just click on it and find out your dashboard diagram, then turn the throttle handle and you can see the change of the gauge.
And State live data.
Then “Active Test”.

Next is “Special Function”, as you can see it have a bunch of reset functions.
Back to ” Motorcycle (Road) (2016 -)” ABS.
In the same method as ENG, go through ECU information, read fault codes, erase fault codes, read data flow, active test and special function etc.
Back to “CIP -Special settings”. also go through CU information, read fault codes, erase fault codes, read data flow, active test etc. (No Special Function)
Next is “Instrument Panel” diagnosis. Have option: ECU information, read fault codes, erase fault codes, read data flow.
Next is “Service system (Service Lamp reset)”. Have option: ECU information, read data flow and special function.
Final is “Suspensions”. Have option: ECU information, read fault codes, erase fault codes, read data flow and special function.
