I used the Autel MaxiIM IM608 II to program for a 2024-2025 Hyundai Sonata all keys lost. The job took less than 4 minutes. Make sure you have the vehicle’s PIN code ready before starting.
- Access Smart Key Learning
- Go to IMMO >> Hyundai >> Manual Selection >> Europe >> SONATA (DN8) >> 2023- >> Smart Key >> OK >> Hot Function >> Smart Key Learning >> Start.
- Confirm to continue. This function supports both Add Key and All Keys Lost. It erases all existing keys, so any old keys must be relearned before they can be used again.
- Enter the Security Code
- Turn the ignition off and check that the instrument screen is black.
- Open and close the driver’s door once.
- Enter the 6-digit security code: 167347.
- Confirm whether the ignition switch is the vehicle’s key sensing area. Some models use another location, such as the cup holder.
- Learn the Smart Key
- Press OK. Within 5 seconds, place the back or top of the smart key against the Start/Stop button and hold it there for 5 seconds.
- Wait for the security lamp to flash and the tool to confirm successful programming.
- When prompted to program the next key, select Yes if you have another key. Otherwise, select No.
- Check the Result
The Autel IM608 II showed one programmed key. I tested the lock and unlock functions, then started the engine. The key worked as expected.
