Open DTS Monaco 8.14.016
All menu options are gray, because the Benz ECOM device is not connected.
Therefore, next is to plug Benz ECOM device to the computer. And enable the network connection.
After the ECOM device is connected, right click on computer, select “Manage”, then “Device Manager”, and find “ASIX AX88772A USB2.0 to fast Ethernet Adapter”.
Again, open DTS Monaco 8.14.016, you can see all menu options are enabled.
Part 1: System settings
Firstly click on “Administrate and manage DTS projects“.
Tick off interface “ECOM” and interfaces CBF “ecom_CBF”.

Click on “Project administration”, then right click on “BR_172Serie” to select “New project”, then “Modular optimized databases (*.SMR-*).
Next – Add , open “Local Disk (C:) ->Program files -> Mercedes-Benz -> Xentry -> Kontexte -> ODXProjeckte -> PKW_COMMON ->dbr -> HU5 HU7 files”.
Project Name “Hu55”, next.
Execution completed.
Select CAN1, Ethernet 1, 61 Logicallinks.
Libraries: CBF, SMR, OTX.
Finish settings. Save the settings.
Part 2: Create a new workspace.
Select “HU55” -> “MBCar_MBVan_SMR_DiagnostiCAN_V_02_05” -> “ecom & DoIP”.
HU55 quick test finished.
