Today I’m going to make a key for this 2008 Honda Accord. It’s all keys lost, so I’ll remove the cylinder that locks the trunk and the gas for key code. First step, cut a key with Xhorse Dolphin XP005; Next, program remote with Autel MaxiIM KM100.
Step1. Cutting Key
Open Xhorse app to control Dolphin XP005:
All key lost >> Honda >> L680 >> HON66 6-6 bitting
Tip align Align line 5 on M5-A clamp
Cutting key >> Cut
Wait until cutting finished… to have a try.
I’ve already tested the key on the car and ignition. Let’s start programming.
Step2. Program Key
Plug VCI into OBD to connect Autel KM100:
IMMO >> Honda >> Manual selection >> Accord >> Blade key >> Yes >> Hot function
If the OBD diagnostic connector of 16 pins is not equipped, the adapter of Honda 3pin or 5pin is needed to connect. If equipped, click “OK” to continue.
Please turn the ignition on.
4th blade key system, press “OK”.
All keys lost(guided) >> Start
Turn the ignition off within 15s…
Turn the ignition on using the same key within 15s.
Key programming succeeded.
Press “No” to complete.

Does the immobilizer indicator lamp go out? Yes
Turn the ignition off within 15s…
Turn the ignition on.
The registration of the key is completed.
Turn the ignition off.
Program Remote
- Double-click the car door unlock button.
- Use the new key to turn ignition on and off for several times until hearing locks open.
- Test the new key: lock and unlock OK, start car OK.
Completed.
