I’m working on a 2021 KIA K5, it’s pushed to start and all keys are lost. So I’ll use the Autel MaxiIM IM608 Pro II to program new keys for this car. The operation steps in this article can also be used for the Autel MaxiIM IM508 II key programming tablet.
It should be noted that the Autel IM608 II is not supported to read pincode for this model, you should get the pin from third party or dealer in advance.

This function supports add key and all key lost;
Performing this function will erase all existing keys, all the old keys must be relearned again to be able to use normally, press “Yes” to continue.
Turn the Hazard Warning Light on.
Turn the ignition off (note: the instrument screen is black).
Open and then close the driver door once!
Please enter the 6-digit security code: 251653
Confirm if the key sensing area of the vehicle is the ignition switch.
Note:
For a small number of vehicle models, the key sensing area is not the ignition switch, but may be another position such as the cup holder.
Press “Yes”.
After pressing OK, perform the operation below:
Within 5s, press the Start/Stop button with the smart key(back or top) against the button for 5s. Then the security lamp will flash.
Programming succeeded.
Press “No” to complete.
Number of current keys: 1
Test the new key, it can successfully start the car, its lock & unlock can work.
Done.
