KEYDIY FAQ – VW MQB49 5C Support:
Q1: Do both KD‑MAX and KD‑X4 support this feature? Can KD‑MAX handle key learning alone?
A: KD‑X4 5-in-1 Key Tool performs both key generation and learning. KD‑MAX is limited to dealer key generation and must be paired with KD‑MATE for learning; it is not compatible with other tools.
Q2: Is each key addition deducted from my point balance?
A: A points plan has not been confirmed. Details will be announced upon release.
Q3: Does the tool read CS PIN? Can exported files be used on other devices?
A: No to both.
Q4: Can I use KD keys, or are only original keys supported?
A: For 5C, both KD and original keys work. For 5D, only original keys are currently supported.
Q5: Will separate authorization be needed, or is it included with MQB access?
A: Authorization structure is still under development. Please await further updates.
Q6: Does Keydiy KD-X4 Key Tool support this 2022 Volkswagen Tavendor LFV3B2CX0N3552124?
A: Yes, it will be supported after the upcoming VW 5C/ 5D key adding upgrade.
