In this article, we’re using the Lonsdor K518 Pro to program a new smart key for 2024 BYD Song L. Here we have 2 keys at hand, one is original key and the other is a blank key.
Please note that the original key is must have everytime you’re adding keys, otherwise the program can’t work.

Since the K518 Pro haven’t updated menu yet, we could use the Frigate 07 menu instead.

The sensing area is at the bottom of the glove box, put the original key here.
We can see the count of programmed key: 2
Program Smart Key >> Confirm Key Count
Put the original key into sening area.
Program successfully.
Press OK to program next one.
Remove the original key, and put into a new key.
Program successfully.
Completed.
The number of programmed keys is 2.
Let’s test if the two keys can be used normally.
Lock and unlock OK.
Start the car OK.
Perfect done!
