Problem: A FormulaFlash ECU Programmer may stop reading all ECUs. Inspection of the PCB shows that the 0Ω resistor at the FB9 position has burned out.
Cause
The FB9 resistor is damaged and must be replaced before the device can communicate with ECUs normally.
Solution
Replace the burned 0Ω resistor at the FB9 position.
If a replacement resistor is not available, a compatible 0Ω resistor can be removed from another location on the PCB and soldered onto the FB9 position.
After soldering the replacement resistor, the device can be used immediately.
