A 2017 Maserati Levante S. has an electric rear brake caliper and it must be put in maintenance mode in order to replace the rear brake pads…It requires the correct software.
I want to confirm the OBDSTAR X200 Pro2 does work for the Levante, at least my 2017 Levante S. Unlike other units this one lets me select the Levante S, 2017 specifically (think I saw 2018 too). Other tools make you select Ghibli and hope it works. I used it to put into maintenance mode for brake pad change, release the parking brake etc, and you can even do individual calipers. I also used it to reset the oil change (little maintenance due wrench) light after performing said maintenance. A little quirky to figure out navigation of the system at first, but once learned it works great.
