Question: can anyone please recommend best place to buy the most reliable clone VCM2? I would be only using this one for diagnosing as I do have the OEM one for flashing.
Or maybe someone can suggest and decent priced place where I may be able to get an OEM one?
What I would really like to get my hands on is a VCM2 that can run on Window 10 with native install of IDS V124 that will support ALL “F-Series” Diesel trucks to 2019+, and do online flashing/programming.
Experience / Feedback for sharing:
I give you two options which are the ones that I use in the shop:
-VCM2 Interface: mines I bought them at Obdexpress.co.uk, they have several ones, with or without WiFi, different quality levels, process, etc. I have some of them on different software versions, and all work good with IDS, with diagnostic and programming. I recommend using WiFi VCM2 only for diagnostics, for programming always VCM2 with USB cable.

– SVCI J2534 Interface: I bought it also at ObdExpress.co.uk and is a great tool, that overcomes the VCM2 interface. You can use it always with the latest IDS version software, provides the license to the program by itself (see the flyobd.com web page for install software and instructions) and really make your life easier as it can be used without Virtual Machine and date rollback. Works great with diagnostics and programming. Also can be used as a J2534 pass-thru interface with other software. Only works by USB cable.
