Car model and year: VW Touran 2009 1.9tdi edc16u31 all key lost. VDO Micronas CDC 3217G.
Key programmer to use: SVCI programmer tool
Symptom:
By easy way got immo off by fvdi, but got “Immobilizer active” in dash (car starts).
Prepared id48 with tango and tried to learn with fvdi (as guys tell it should work, as it also readed PIN), unfortunately it didn’t programmed a key.
Professional Advice:
You can’t prepare id48 with just read form edc16 ecu since it is missing 7th byte and you don’t have working key to decode 7th byte.
If you want to learn id48 you need to precode it with cs. can you access and read immo data instrument cluster with SVCI ? if yes you can see CS and precode transponder if no you need to remove eeprom and prepare dash for service mode, but I think you can access that dash without working key so just go to “instrument cluster can” and click on “read immo data”.
Actually, Yes I have seen CS there. SVCI can read this, so I am suggested to precode transponder, go to key learning > wizard > precode dealer key and manual input cs you got.

Fvdi autodetect 7th byte with trying bytes (with key programmer) works well.
It has written that work finished. Chip writted and locked successfully. After that i have learned key. Also written successfully and noticed that i should ignition on with each key (but ignition already was on) , I clicked ok ,but nothing.
Engine starts and immediately stops. Immobilizer active is on display.
Finally, the job is done! GOOD TO KNOW: please read data via instrument cluster.
